In Thoracic III, Tilda Lundbohm explores plaster as a material capable of preserving folds, impressions, and shifts within a fragile, almost skin-like surface. A vertical, spine-like structure runs through the centre of the relief, giving the otherwise crumpled form a distinct bodily association. The monochrome white surface allows light and shadow to define the work, bringing subtle variations, fractures, and folds into focus. The result balances between a physical bodily imprint and a more abstract exploration of material, form, and fragility. Thoracic III is produced in an edition of 5.
