In Blomsterkrukke med hoveder, Kristian Devaniter transforms the traditional still-life motif into a playful and displaced figurative world. Two vessel-like forms simultaneously resemble heads, from which stylised flowers emerge in intense blues, yellows, greens, and whites. Sharply defined shapes and an almost graphic construction create a rhythmic composition in which figure, flower, and object merge into one another. The painting moves between still life and portraiture through a humorous and immediate visual language.
