Dino Cama2026
Thorleif
Price: 26,000 DKK
Akryl, Collage og Pastel på træplade
100 x 153 cm.
THORLEIF originates in Dino Cama’s encounter with an older man whose calm, warm, and non-judgmental presence left a lasting impression on the artist. Rather than a direct portrait, the figure becomes a free interpretation of that energy – imagined as a warrior carrying both strength and vulnerability. The elongated body is constructed from rhythmic black patterns and eye-like forms, while the distinctive headdress and vivid details stand out against the exposed wooden panel. At the same time, the work challenges fixed ideas of cultural identity, suggesting a broader and more diverse understanding of what Danish identity can look like.
