STUDY OF PLURALINGUALISM 2 MR. LEMMERZ was created as an artistic tribute to Christian Lemmerz and forms part of Dino Cama’s exploration of plurilingualism and our ability to move between cultural and social spaces. Inspired by Lemmerz’s idea that an artist needs only a few tools to create a meaningful work, Cama deliberately restricts himself to charcoal and acrylic on paper. The dense composition brings together overlapping human and animal-like figures, masks, hats, signs, and fragments, forming a raw visual language of its own. Through this material restraint, the work explores language, perception, stereotypes, and different forms of experience with both intensity and playfulness.
