In The Rebuilding, Jacob Brostrup merges an abandoned interior with abundant vegetation to create a single, interconnected space. Trees, branches, and plant life spread through the building, while windows and doorways still reveal traces of the architecture gradually being reclaimed by nature. Cool blues and greens meet warmer reds and oranges across the overgrown ground, creating a vivid tension between decay and renewal. The work explores transformation and rebuilding, presenting nature as an active force generating new life within a man-made environment.
